What you need before a processor accepts cards
The live payment link can go live in test mode immediately. Taking real cards is an application to an acquirer. They review the business, not the software.
PayLive does not hold customer card numbers, does not issue merchant accounts, and does not decide approvals. If a file is refused, that decision is the processor’s.
Documents
Trade licence
UAE mainland or free-zone licence still in date. The trading name on the checkout should match the licence or a registered trade name.
Bank account
IBAN in the same legal name. Personal accounts are usually refused for a company licence.
Identity of the owner
Passport or Emirates ID, and proof the signatory may bind the company. Extra owners above a threshold are often requested.
Address and contact
A reachable phone, email, and a physical address they can verify. A PO box alone is often not enough.
What buyers must see
Refund and return policy
Who pays return shipping, how many days, and what happens to opened perfume. Vague “contact us” pages fail review.
Shipping policy
Countries you ship to, delays, and who is the merchant of record. Live selling does not cancel delivery rules.
Privacy and terms
What you collect on checkout (name, phone, address) and that card data is handled by the processor, not stored by you.
Support channel
A WhatsApp number or email that answers after the live. Processors test whether a buyer can reach you.
What you sell
Clear product pages
Photos, volume, price in AED, and what is in the bottle. “Surprise box” with no description is a common refusal.
Prohibited lists
Each processor publishes one. Weapons, adult content, some supplements, and some replica goods are refused. Fragrance is usually allowed if it is genuine and labelled.
You fulfil the order
If a third party ships under another name, say so. Hidden dropshipping is a frequent rejection.
No fake urgency as a legal claim
Stock and countdown on a live are fine as presentation. Do not write guaranteed delivery dates you cannot keep.
After approval
Payouts are not instant
Expect a reserve and a delay of several days. Plan cash for stock and shipping before the first live that takes real cards.
Chargebacks
The processor can debit you if a buyer disputes. Keep the live recording, the order, and the tracking number.
Test mode first
Use the link in test mode on a private live. Confirm the amount, the address form, and the confirmation message before you apply.
